Untold stories from the Carnival

Chapter 5 - The Music

As if he was being drawn Lance made his way to the entrance to the freak show. Scott was now sitting in a cloud of bluish gray smoke with an ancient looking guitar in his hands. He was picking out a melody that sounded Middle Eastern at times but would change into a raucous jumble of strings and then back to a quiet lullaby that would threaten to wrap you up inside it and lull you to sleep. As Lance stood and listened he knew there were good things ahead of him almost like a premonition. He felt that …

Chapter 4- Realization

Lance looked at his watch and realized that he was late for his meeting, but he knew that he wasn’t going to make the meeting. Something had changed inside him as he watched how Dave had diffused the situation. It made him think back to the days when he would play his drums for hours at a time. The first kit he rented he set up and played for hours. The sticks felt so natural in his hands. The sound of the snare and the cymbals crashing, it was like a symphony that he was controlling. He knew …

Chapter 3 - The Introduction

Lance began to walk over towards the man to see if he was ok. The closer he got the more he could smell the pipe tobacco, it was quite pungent and made his head swim. The tilt a whirl operator was getting up slowly, still cursing loudly and looking for things to throw. Lance decided that there was nothing he needed to do for the man so he decided to head back to his limo. He wasn’t quite sure if he believed all that had just happened but before he could turn around he noticed Scott looking directly …

Chapter 2 - An unplanned flight

Lance’s evening was to be filled with important meetings and parties that he was scheduled to attend (If you were to know who he was meeting with you would be very impressed). Chapter 1- story lesson

The night Lance began his journey at the circus with Dave and Scott they had no idea what the consequence of his actions would do to their lives. In the beginning there was a Carnival and there were Freaks

After many requests concerning our time at the carnival, I have agreed to relate a limited amount of stories. Who knows how many I will tell or how often they will be published. I apologise for the inconsistency ahead of time, but I will guarantee you that they will all be as close to the facts as I remember. They will chronicle the adventures that transpired during the three weeks and a day that Lance, Scott and Dave were together at the lesser known traveling circus. They will also at times be somewhat graphic in nature as you can probably imagine, so consider yourself forewarned. I may limit these stories to members only due to their sensitive nature sometime in the future. So I would recommend if your not already a member do it now.
Enjoy the stories for what they are, a trip down memory lane to place and time better forgotten.
